I still get chills thinking about how good the game was yesterday. Such a rollercoaster of a game with every single player (on both sides) stepping it up a notch, but Jason Werth really sealed the deal when he stole 2nd and 3rd (consecutively) on Billy Wagner to set up the tying run for Gooch. Pat the Bat is Met Killer Extraordinare. 20% of his 41 career homers have been hit against the mets.
I encourage the Braves to play better then they have ever played in their entire lives. Nothing would make me happier to watch the Braves sweep the Mets...well let me add - and the Phils whoop up on the Marlins. Only 2 games back and playing the last place Marlins. God this is a great set up.
That was one of the great September dives in baseball history. Congrats to the Phillies, boos to the Mets, who now get to spend the entire off season weeping about what night have been.
