Just wanted to share a few shots from today. I had to get out to start getting used to a new camera! This will take a while. Anyway, C&C welcome. Thanks for looking!

looks like you had a great day of it nick! seems you've enjoyed getting used to that new stuff just fine (and her black 'socks' are terrific!)

Hey thanks! I'm not sure how much of that is mud though (that was shot on the edge of a marsh).

Same location, different day, so I figured I'd use the same thread.

I was hoping someone could help confirm a bird ID.

I was practicing tracking gulls when this guy flew by. I think it's a Royal Tern, Sterna maxima, but I didn't realize they came this far north. I was shooting on Grand Island in the middle of the Niagara River on the Canada/USA border.
