Any 602z owners been experiencing cold weather problems with their camera?
I came close to having my POV submission DQ`d because some EXIF information was missing from the original image. Thankfully it wasn`t the important info, but I`ve been trying very hard to find out the cause of this problem.
I`m now starting to think it`s a camera fault. The day I shot my picture, the temperature was around -2C and the camera, on occasions was not reacting when I pressed the zoom or shutter. It returned to normal after cradling the body of the lens in my hand for a few seconds.
Not all of my shots from that day have this problem but there is at least 3 images that are missing info like ISO speed and compression thumbnail. The images that are missing this info have
"Reference Black an...." followed by a large series of numbers.
No other image I have ever taken has this reference.
Any knowledgeable people out there who could shed any light on this for me? I definitely do not want to find myself submitting another image and being accused of tampering with it again !.
