Another tip is to carry a small fold-up reflector with you. When the light on a small subject is just too harsh, you can fill in the shadows by using the reflector.
Another one is to carry a very small atomizer filled with water (in a plastic bag) and use it to create "dew" on a flower you're going to shoot.

Excellent Point about wanting to know what I need.
The site is broad-based and the audience is everyone from beginner to pro. I need both digital and film tips, as well as both kinds of darkroom tips.
Basically, anything you've ever learned from someone and you said "Gee, I wish I'd known that earlier," you should share that.
Tall order, lady. I've been taking pictures for over 50 years (gawd, I'm old!) but I'll try to come up with a few for you.
How many do you need per newsletter and how often is it published?
I'm shooting for once a month and about 3-6 (possibly 9) tips per newsletter. First edition should be ready to go in a very short time...Sneak a January edition in with the links and tips I have right now.
