Obviously RAW is best because you can correct WB later.
I like to use a low ISO around 100 and f stop somewhere between 8 and 16.
Use manual settings and use the area just to the side of the sun, not directly at it, or meter the area in your foreground. This will help you get the correct exposure for a scene that really confuses your camera. Use a tripod and bracket your exposures.
For post processing, I really like color balance w/ sunsets. YOu can bring out the pink or oranges or whatever you are going for. |
