I have a LOMO Action sampler, and the Super Sampler. BTW, these cams are not made by the famous LOMO facility in Russia, they are made in China. The LOMO society pretty much just imports them thru a distributorship with LOMO. I do have a Lubitel 166, which is made by LOMO though.
One of their cooler cams is the LCA. Best bet is to buy off eBay and not directly from the lomography site, they really jack the prices.
The LOMO society is a great marketing program developed by 2 guys who took some crappy cams and made them desireably cool. Here is an intersting read on LOMOGRAPHY
With all that said, I like the shoot from the hip creedo that they use, and Im a big toy camera fan, so yeah, I can dig it. :)
I've seen them in a shop window and am dying to try out the one with the 4 panoramic lenses. I just wish it was digital because I've always been very stiny when it comes to using film.
Guess I don't get "hip". What makes a LOMOgraph, how it's taken, or the camera it's taken with? If the camera's not important, then its just snapshots with a basic rule of "avoid trying...", right? Don't focus, don't compose, don't be concerned about lighting, just capture whatever's in front of the camera right now. And right now. And, how about now? Extreme point-and-shoot? Fun to do, I suppose, but... where's that rant thread on snapshots...? :)

Thanks for posting this guys! I read/looked through lomography.com, that gallery link and a number of other lomography websites and am really interested now! So I went out on ebay and managed to find a cheap lomo smena 8m for $10. I can't wait to get it and carry it around and give this whole idea a try!

I think you pretty much get it, Scott. After all, their credo is "Don't think, just shoot". I think that can be a very refreshing thing to do sometimes and it's fun to just go out and shoot without thinking about all the technicalities. I think a LOMOgraph is more of a style. I have an old 35mm that's not officially a LOMO, but it gives me results much like a LOMO and I have the POP 9 LOMO camera. I don't think Lomographs are your typical snapshot, either. There are some very nice shots on the LOMO site and on the link I posted earlier. For me personally, it's just a good creative exercise that adds to my visual library and gives me results that I can't get with my digital(in camera, at least).
