I think it looks pretty good also. The colors are very nice and I agree with what others have suggested about the lighting. Let me just add the bottom is cropped a little tight. That's the best about digital you can shoot a still life over and over.
Well lets close the blinds or curtians first of all to tone down the bright natural light, allowing more control with your fluorescent and tilthead.
Once you get better control of the light make sure the glass isnt reflecting much because that can be a huge distraction in the photo. I would then try to direct light onto the Lime which would give the photo different character and a "refreshing" feel.
I like the use of the "out of focus" background. If you want, try a black background. The liquid is dark red so you would have to illuminate it some how because it wouldnt show up very well against a black background. A white background would work too but you would have to control the light a little more because the white would reflect a lot of light....
Cropping could be better, it would be nice to see the whole glass...
Oh and lastly there are some smudges on the glass so I would clean it to get it crystal clear....

I would use a very dark area/room with more even light distribution.
Yeah, the glares are so much! Only one, that is in front to the ice cubes on the left is intentional. Every other are errors. Thanks to take time to conduct this detailed answer, and to make me see how many things I need to improve.
