OK well this is realy my Friends CD release Concert. If you look in my file his name is Dan Cogan... Any Ways he is having a show this night and wants me to take some pictures so i was like what the heck lets make it a GTG and see if we can get anyone to come...
Well this is a friday night and it will be a concert at the Main Street Cafee... it is like a Coffee house were it gives kids something to do on the weekends to keep them off the streets it is an all ages show and i think it will be $5 a person the show starts at 7:30ish and my friend will not going on till last he is the headliner if thats what you want to call it =) im still getting details on this so i will keep you all posted.... Let me know if any one wants to Come i think it would be fun! im going to take the day off that day and maybe shoot during the day and then go to the show that night =)
all so if you dont mind.... im trying to do something for him for free like picture wise...so if you dont mind i was wonding if he wanted to use our pictures if you guys minded... i would say just give him you info and ask him to put you name under the picture that you took it or something... he is really easy going i dont think he is look for rights to use just some stuff for web site and maybe some inside CD cover stuff =)

Same here i really like shooting Concerts i love the weired lighting and stuff like that... i have no idea how the lighting will be but i am going to look up some info on shooting Concerts =)

its doing ok i did some 4th of july shots and some of my family reunion and i need to up load them to see how they look... i just really want the D200 lol... the auto focus is kinda acting weird... over all it seems fine but i just dont want it to stop during a wedding ... soo all the money i mkae these next few weddings will go tward my D200..=) =) =) =) =)

Well I'm getting a D-200 in a couple of months. Can't wait. If you would like help on a few weddings, I would be happy to help u just for my own experience. I'm shooting my second wedding in October. Anyway the extra camera might be nice, just in case. I'm finally starting to get the feel of shooting. I am having a little trouble on my night shots. I think I just need to be able to ballance my shutter speed with my lighting. Anyway I would love to help if possible. later

AWESOME!!! Well this sounds good i dont know were you all want to eat at...let me get the actuall direction and see about eating locations in tthat area...
Wish you guys could wait a couple weeks, I'm planning to be in KC 8/25 - 9/3 and I'd love to GTG with some DPC folks, either on the Plaza, Westport or wherever.
WOOO HOOOO : Kansas City is my hometown and what a great place to shoot! I've been to the Main st. Cafe many times and its a blast, I'd love to go but will need to watch my schedule as the time nears. As far as eating up there... it depends on your price range. Its right off the plaza so it can get pricy quick. A good spot is the Tom Fooleries on the end of the Plaza (Park in the Valencia garage for free, eat for about 7-10 plate and then walk the length of the plaza). Its a thought...

im in the same boat... and if this D200 deal screws up with how im buy it threw ( my other thread) i will really be in a bind.... naa i was thinking some were cheap... last time we ate at Winsteads
I remember, I couldn't go because you scheduled it in August and well, my birthday is right around that time. I have a poopy camera from a year or so ago getting robbed and realizing my insurance paid for up to 2000 in camera equipment. :(
I'm just like a new bird getting started and the more money I can save for my business, my wedding and such, the better!
