I don't have an exact font size but using a size that is proportional to the size of the print/poster would probably work.
12 point on the post card might be too small and 6 point would be hardly readable.
It all depends on the size of the output.
For the poster you may need to use a font size of about 60.
One way to check is to view your image at full size (1 inch/cm on ruler is 1 inch/cm in real life) and check the size of the text on the image.
