After the big day - Stacey's wedding - Pam and I went on holiday on 19th June to spend a week in Porec, Croatia. Only 1 hour 45 mins on the flight (normally 2hrs 10mins but we had a strong tailwind) we landed at Pula airport. We left the UK with a temperature of 18 deg c we were now experiencing a temp of 37 deg c! The temp did drop to between 32 - 34 deg c during out stay. We found Croatia to be a very pretty and very clean country, the people are also very friendly. We spent the week relaxing with the odd day out to the nearby town of Porec. We had a lovely time, only drawback was that Pam had picked up a cold just before the wedding which turned worse on holiday, this meant we could not do as much as we would have liked to. We arrived back on Tusday 26th June, which was 29 years to the day we first met! Back in the UK the temp was 16 deg c! It had rained heavily since we had been away. I took a few photos, mostly with my Lumix FX-01. We will be going back to Croatia, possibly to Dubrovnik, at some time.
Thanks Goran! We had a great time in your beautiful country. I dont think I have ever seen such a clean and well kept country. Everywehere was kept so clean and tidy. The people are so freindly and make you feel very welcome. I hope to return one day and see more of your country.

Sounds good! However my 300D is defunct at the moment due to me dropping it! Need to see if I can claim on my house contents insurance to get a replacement. So I only have my Lumix. I could always use my Caonon Eos 5 and shoot some film!
