I have been using Mpix for prints, but I have a client who wants 16x20 textured prints... something like the linen texture. Unfortunately, Mpix doesn't have this for their prints.
Anyone know of another online lab where I can get this done????
I don't know about "prints", but I recently used Miller's lab, (on the advice of a very well-respected instuctor I met at a recent photography class I attended), to order a 20x24 canvas bonded to masonite for a client, and I cannot tell you how amazing that image came out. It was textured, like linen canvas. When I took it out of the shipping box, it took my breath away!
There are many labs that do this service, though, and you may just need to check around to see who you might like to deal with.
Mpix has something called Gallery Wraps. Gallery Wraps Wouldn't that work?
Email their support center to inquire about texture. They are really good about responding.
I know someone who had a print done that had the texture of an oil painting. It looked AMAZING! I might be able to find out where that was done. Too bad I didn't think about photographing the texture of the image, but he had it done with both of these.
I think I have read somewhere that most places that do "gallery wraps" will also just do the print on canvas, and ship it to you rolled up, just like a canvas painting.

Several labs offer linen or pebble texturing on regular lustre prints. I use whcc.com. Adds about $.20 to an 8x10 print and I think it is a nice feature. I'm sure mpix and others offer it as well.
Gallery wraps are another product. Very nice I might add, just more pricy.

Until the end of today, 2/15, Diversified Labs is running a sale on all 16x20s 1/2 off. Their quality is amazing, much better than mpix. You can also get linen and pebble textured prints for 16x20s. Even without the sale their prices are great. divlab.com Good luck!
