I looked at another shot I took for the macro challenge. I should have used this one instead. No post processing done save crop/resize. Please have a look and comment on the outtake.
IMHO the painting on the coin ruins the shot for me. It destroys all the detail. The second shot is marginally better, but the subject of the shot will only let the shot get so good...
