When the On the Edge challenge was published, my entry was in 6th place with a 97% percentile. I understand that the original 1. place image was dq'd. I'd think that a photo originally in 6th place should now be in 5th, instead I find it in 7th place with a lowered percentile.
Not that I care about such a minor shift in position, but it doesn't make any sense either. Is it the result of a miscalculation?
That is wierd! Maybe the On the edge of the world shot got bumped up b4 yours. I seem to recall it being after. Maybe someone will pop in with an answer for you. Good Luck!

They changed it somehow, although still a little weird:
Before the DQ of the 1st place, I was on 11st place. So I thought I would be on the 10th after the DQ. Wasn't so, still on 11 on the second result page. Ten images were before me.
I wasn't so sure if I recalled my initial standing correct, so I didn't get deeper into it.
Now I'm at the first page with the 10th entry, however, it is still at 11th place, because place 9 is somehow missing!
Yes, I agree. Something is still funny. I thought I was in 8th place before the DQ and I was still in 8th after the DQ and I am still there now that things changed. It sure is not a big deal. I just like being anywhere on the first page! But, something is funny.
When there are "problems" like this the site admins have to manually re-code things. I have no idea what their schedule is like, or how hard it is to do and make work correctly. I am sure they will have accurate and updated results posted as soon as practical.
