1 is great because it includes two states (or three, really) of water.. surprised no snow/ice + water pictures had a title indicating the gas phase (yea, a stretch.. i know) as well.. but i think i prefer 2 slightly more.
I think you chose wisely. The first one has foreground, a focal point (the rock) and the elements seem to echo the shape of the rock which gives it a certain symmetry. I think it was deserving of it's finish and (in my opinion) is alot stronger compositionally than the other two.
The third one, I think it is the most pure one. I like that one the most, don't know if it would win any ribbons and if it were my photo's I wouldn't really care. They are all three very nice, but the third one is the best.
