Yes I shoot weadings...and setting my own prices and selling through smugmug is a big thing.
If I do go pro...can someone please help me with the design...I've tried in the past and even with all the instructions I can't seem to get it, and time is a issue also.
I've been there...I don't do well with reading tons of threads on how to do something...guess I just get overwhelmed and what I see in my head doesn't translate like I want it.

I do and I really like it. i am not good at website stuff but i was able to build mine with a little trial and error. I have never sold anything though:( guess I need better stuff. I get about 1,000 photo views a month and don't advertise so i guess thats good.
I have a pro account also. I love it. I am still trying to get it the way I want it but it is working great right now. I have figured out a little bit of the customizing so if you need help just ask.
P.S. Rex is great, I wouldn't have the site how it is without him. :)

hey I posted earlier, just adding to my post.... yep //www.dgrin.com is a really great site thats dedicated to smugmug, you can get alot of questions answered their... I read alot their and designed my site //www.lamontphotography.com from all the stuff I read..so thats what I came up with. I am happy with what I came up with... lol I still dont understand how I did it, the whole CSS codeing thing can be confusing but anyway if you see anything on my site that you like I can read my code and give some for you to cut and paste in, thats basically what I did from all the reading on dgrin.com
I've only done a little bit of customization but I might be able to help you with any questions that you may have. I'm not a web designer but I am a senior software engineer. It helps if you know a little about HTML and/or CSS (Cascading Style Sheets).
One of the neat things about SmugMug is that you can do as little or as much customization as you prefer. IOW, you can use it 'as is' or make it look and act just about any way you want.
PhotoReflect is free and allows you a very basic web presence and your choice of many print suppliers. Smugmug allows you a very pro site, but you print with them - very reliable company out of Norcross, GA (Atlanta) and their quality is predictably good and ships next day. My larger print orders are handled by me and I print with Millers mostly, but smaller orders are all handled through smugmug and they do a great service for the price. The only comparable service I've found is Pictage.com and they want as much as $200/month for the same quality.
