One of the L.A. County Sherriffs from work has started competing in outrigger races. They will be competing in the Kahanamoku Klassic 2007 in Marina Del Rey. I plan on going and doing some shooting. Any interest in turning it into an LA DPC GTG?
My camera is also in the shop (it fell and broke) but I'm hoping to get it back within a week. I'm about a 1-2 hrs drive from MDR...do you think this will be worth it to drive down and shoot?
I'm not sure... I've never seen one of these competitions before, so I don't know what I can tell you. Check the website link in the original post... they do have some photo galleries there. That may help. I'm also game for other outings other weekends if anyone wants to suggest any.
