whereas i see your point about some shots not being particularly "macro" in nature, the challenge description is as such:
'Take a photograph outside, up close and personal with your macro function enabled of anything you can find. Good Luck!'
the description only really says "with your macro function enabled", which allows for a varying degree of intimacy.
perhaps more specific guidelines need to be posted in the future, so as to account for confusions like this one.
