thanks to the invention of keyboards, thumb pads, keypads, handwriting recognition and all these electronic fonts, our handwritings are deteriorating. how much do you agree with this?
usually when i write something with hand (about every month once :-) i forget an letter in every fifth word. doc, is this normal ? ... i think this is because i can type 1000 words in minute without looking at keyboard and no mistakes whatsoever :-)
spellcheck is killing my spellings... I'm stil not sure whether ""experience"" is the right spelling..
and my writing is a messy scrawl but when I'm make an effort it's really impressive.. It's always shocking to see it come out of my pen..

I disagree my handwriting deteriorated around 4th grade... seriously.
I hate writing with a pencil or pen. I work with computers. It's so much easier to open notepad on the computer and type it out instead of writing it down.
No need to hand write a letter anymore. No need to hand write reports.
In fact, now my note taking abilities are gone. Of course, it's sort of like encryption since no one can understand it. Even better than (worse) doctor's perscription writting.
Infact, I've gone even geekier and changed to the Dvorak Keyboard.
They've been saying this since the invention of the typewriter if not before. I'm pretty much in the RainMotorsports camp though. Fourth grade sounds about right for the last time I used cursive writing. After that it was block printing only and that was completely gone by college. Now, if it weren't for contracts and checks I would probably not be able to sign my own name.

Supossidly my asperger syndrome accounts for my writing difficulties. My print went and then my cursive and then it became easier to read my print then my cursive. By 9th grade they forced me todo my class work on a laptop.
