Best White Balance for live show?

I'm leaving in 45 minutes to go to a show (mine). A friend will be taking pictures using my camera. He's a novice. I want to make it as simple as possible for him. I'm bringing only my 50mm F1.8, to get the fastest lens possible. I will put the camera on P. What is the best WB to use for this type of setting? Lots of big colorfull lights.

If the lights is in many different colors it's not such big of deal to have the right WB, I used Kelvin 6600 when I was taking these ones..

ps, the best ones are not there, unless you are a member of my school :)

Maybe I should just shoot in RAW and figure it out after?

of course that will give the best resault, but it takes so much space ...... I would just find something near 6500 kelvin, how do think it worked out on my shots.

The shots look pretty good, colours seem realistic. On the 300D, 6500K would be shade or cloudy, I think.
Does that seem right?
