Newbie/Amateur starting this team for people who have "0" ratings, people like me who for one reason or another have never entered a challenge! (Because I'd never entered a challenge, I didn't want to put my name on the free agent list.)
I've sent invitations via Private Message, mostly to members with portfolio photos, interesting members photos, and/or outside galleries.
If others who have been waiting to enter a challenge would like to join the team, leave a comment for me here or PM me and I'll send you an invite.
Yeah, I guess it will just die. Though on second thought, I *will* check back in the morning. This was a rush job; I'm sorry don't have time to start sending out invitations tonight.

That's a great idea -- you should browse the photographer profiles page and PM people who recently signed up to see if you can get others interested (page 98 or page 1956).
Well, I have high hopes for Zero Division -- I've sent out about 25 invitations, all to members who have never entered a challenge and who either have portfolio photos or links to their galleries.
I even sent invitations to a couple of pros... I'd love it if they'd join this newbie team! LOL
I'm a complete beginning photographer. I've never entered a contest on this site but have entered on other, less competitive sites. Best score 6.9. I've been hesitant to join a team because I don't want to bring them down but if I can help you out I like to join. I understand though if you'd rather not.
Not a bad effort for an accidentally created Team.

By the way, I made the Zero Division logo, but if one of you teammates is a graphic designer and feels they can do a better job, go for it!
Thanks for the welcome. Look forward to the challenge. I am still reading through all of the documentataion about DPL but it seems like it could be some fun.
We're currently a good mix of sexes, ages, locations and even camera equipment. Looks like you and Tez both have the same Canon, which is cool.
Several members indicated they want to do this as gently as possible (no intense deadlines), so it's my feeling we are in it for experience, fun, and support. Of course we'll each do our best, but we'll try to avoid pressuring people.
Two Zero Division members are registered users on the site, so they won't be able to enter Member Only challenges. It's cool that we have six people, that way we have a better chance of having at least four people enter a challenge. And if all six enter, that's even better!
Dang, I've got two people who wrote and said they want the seventh spot. I sent an invite to the first person, and now they aren't picking up the invitation. I don't think they realize it closes tonight.

I dont think you realize you can add users to any empty spots after it closes. You can also replace 1 team member during any season. I read the rules 3 times lol.

You are right, I didn't realize! I'm glad someone is keeping up with the rules. I'm beat (I've been up since 4:30 this morning).
Anyway, faux-emergency averted, jeffl has accepted the invitation and is our seventh member. Hooray, Jeff!
