I'm trying to put together a collage for Mother's Day. I wanted to know how to get the photos to look like they are floating a bit from the photo behind it. These are my wedding photos...just trying to make this look the best I can. I'm at work right now so can't post the photos I am using.

The trial versions won't let you output to a file worthy of printing for momma, but yeah, I did ;)
It's TOTALLY worth the money, as you've noticed the Chop is not really ideal for making collages. I've saved at least $100 of my time using Fotofusion.

sheesh, I bought it for $80 or something! go ahead and download the trial program or watch the video but be warned, you're going to really start wanting it if you do many collages, or any at all ever.
Am I going to have to buy the extreme version to print out a 11x14...this is my first collage and only why is for my Mom. I don't really see myself making more of them...maybe. Once I learn I might try more.

Nah, if you're just going to make the one, use photoshop for now, unless you're REALLY having a difficult time. The mid-sized version will do for 11x14, as it will do up to 13x19. Specs

As other's have said, Fotofusion is great. I just wish I could do multi page Collages without having to pay $300 for the Studio version.
I just can't justify spending that much money on something I may or may not use again. I wish the trial would allow a good print for a one time use to try out...then I wouldn't have to worry about this.
I made this as an example for a collage.. I just did this photo shoot on Sunday & the mom is coming by today to pick out her prints.. I made this using photoshop CS2.. It's super easy.. Open up a "new" image, make it the size you want the print to be, then you get a blank canvas to start from.. Just keep adding pictures.. You can use the "free transform" option to fix the size and angle of the photo's once you've added them..
To add the picture, just minimize the collage, go to open & get the next picture you want to use.. Select All, copy, then close that picture, re-open the collage & paste it.. In CS2 it automatically creates it as a new layer..Then you can add a layer style and pick drop shadow.. This is a basic example, nothing fancy..
