I've just been viewing challenge results in regards to my own scoring as opposed to that of others, and interestingly enough, I find that many times I did not even vote on the top shots, but voted on several of the middle range ones. Also interesting to me is that my scoring may have been higher or lower than the average on a particular picture which I can see has a lot to do with my own abilities and environment. In other words, I shoot a lot of nature/landscapes. If I see what I consider to be a well done landscape, I tend to score it higher than the average - but one that I consider to be poorly done I score lower than the average. I also tend to score higher shots that technically I think are difficult - but sometimes that's just because it's something I haven't tried before. I'm wondering if others have looked back this way to analyze their own voting patterns? |
