Anyone planning to be at the Mayday Parade Sunday May 6?
It starts at 1:00 at 25th and Bloomington(S Minneapolis) and ends at Powderhorn Park.
This is my favorite annual festival.
A neighborhood style parade complete with custom built bicycles, stilt walkers, 12 foot puppets, and a leftist environmentalist message.
The parade ends at a park with a pagan return of the sun festival.
It is all very performance art, silly costume fun. A great place for photography.
