For those who do stock photography and work with models.....how much of a percentage do you offer models?? I'm trying to gather a standard. Right now I'm offering 15%.

nada.... TFP usually or fixed one time pay

15% of what?

Why would you not just pay them a fee and be done with it?

That's what I was thinking, but I didn't want to stick my neck out.

by the hour dood ... no percentage ... unless someone wants to work for you for nothing but drinks and lunch and whatever and then you make the deal for percentage if you are really desperate and the model is SUPER.

Yep, one time fee is what I pay. Usually I have models I have used B4 and I know them, so I get off fairly cheep. If you get a model on MM or OMP, just make sure they are going to sign a model release ahead of time, and make sure it is filled out properly, or the stock agency will reject your shots.
