Check out the community forum... there is a thread that started a few days ago. I would include it but I dunno how.
Basically it's the percentage you placed in accroding to your placement against the number of entries.
It shows how good you ware compared to others, if a photo gets 50%, then it was rated higher than 50% if the entries, if it gett 100% it means it got higher grade than all the others = it was nr one.
