Thank you for the coveted OOBIE. Sorry to have been so shameless in expressing my desire for this recognition.
Actually I don't feel I have won recognition -- it is the image that has won. And that's important to me. Addiction has had a significant effect on our family, and this picture expresses something that I really needed to record. I hope the image will be meaningful to others who have struggled, or are currently struggling, with this heartbreaking disease.
My daughter, the model, will be very happy too that this image has been recognised.
