Right not sure what kind of response I'm going to get but on the 30th of April (a Monday) There is going to be the Beltane Fire festival on Calton hill in Edinburgh.

Its the ancient Rite to welcome summer's new life. Goes from 9pm-1am.

Should be some good opportunities at this and was just testing the waters to see if there would be any interest.

£5 advance order + 50p booking fee and £7 at the gate but advanced purchase is recommended.

I would love to attend, but it is too far for me. As a pagan who works with Nature and Gaia as a daily routine, this would work on two fronts, as something I believe in and a photographic opportunity.

Hope everyone who goes, enjoys themselves and takes some time to think about Mother Earth and how we are affecting her.

I'll be fire spinning in it :D So yeah, please do take lots of photos!

The whole thing's a really good photo opportunity, a picture of the Red Men appeared not so long ago on the cover of the National Geographic

Oh, and lots of training and busking photos are already on here

Or even without the photography, just come along for the drums, fire and nakedness. Beltane rocks :)
