The 24-70/2.8L is an outstanding lens. The majority of my challenge entries are taken with that lens simply because it has the most useful zoom range for most of the type of shots I've taken so far.
That said, the 16-35/2.8L is next on my wish list, but I don't regret getting the 24-70 first.
I think you'd notice a significant difference between it and the 28-80, especially in terms of size and weight. :) |
