My color portrait entry was the direct result of reading about using windows for lighting, the need for some shadow but not too much on the face, paying attention to colors, focusing on the eyes, etc.
I'm thrilled with the score, but the best part is I now have a wonderful shot of my daughter to cherish forever. :)

Whatever it was that you read, I should have read it! I love your portrait shot. I have so much to learn about taking a portrait of someone. That is the hardest for me. I did learn alot from the comments I got. Things I should have noticed but didn't until I looked at all the other entries. That's why I love this site so much! |
