30-Day Portrait Challenge - April 2007

I'm itching for another 30-day challenge - I would like to shoot only portraits. They could be self-portraits, portraits of kids, pets, candids and posed,.... anything portrait related.

All you have to do is play along and have fun. Shoot a portrait every day, post it either here on DPC or in a blog if you like. If you want to use a blog, give me the address and I'll add it to the original post in this thread.
That's it.
Its all fun, nothing too serious. If you miss a day, catch up later. If you give up, nobody will laugh at you. If you find vast improvements in your portrait skills by the end of 30 days.... smile and be glad. :D

I propose we begin April 1st (April Fools Day). Who would like to join?

I am with you as long as we don't have to do self-portraits....you have too much of an advantage there!

Excellent! I'm rather tired of shooting me that's why I suggested the challenge to be ALL portraits. More variety that way too. :)

Very cool... I'm trying to get back into my blog (did some clean up and trying to figure what to blog about) pawpad and this would give me something to do for 30 days. Still got that one IT Selfport to pull off.

DANGIT!!! I already promised Shanny I would participate in the 30 days of MaGic challenge....

I really love doing portraits too....

hmmmmmmmmm I think I have a decision to make :-/

Ok, I will regret it but I'm in. I bet I won't finish, maybe I am in a challenge called "30-Day incomplete challenges" or something like that. But hey I have to put that new battery grip to good use ;)

ugh. I wish i could...I need the practice. BUT, I was cast in a theatre production, and literally will be going nonstop everyday from 7am - 11pm. That leaves no time for photography for the next few weeks. :(

Count me in - you'll be so sick of seeing my family by the end of April.

I've never done a 30-day challenge before though, someone's got to brief me on what I need to do.

I am so tempted! I love doing portraits, even tho they would all have to be kind of candid, outside kinds of portraits. . . but. . .hmmmm. . . .okay. Count me in.
