I have spamassassin set up on my server. It has been only letting through a couple a day, which is a little better than my secondary ISP provided email address. I use Yahoo for my junk account. Normally I just assume that anything sent there is spam and delete it without looking.
Gotta love a good spam filter. I have my own vanity domain(s) with the MX records set up to use Google's Gmail. Maybe one spam gets through every couple of months, and the only real mail that's ever gone into the spam folder was from an IR company's spammed press release, but they were a bit goofy anyway.
I use hotmail and pretty much all spam seems to be blocked. Some go in my junk folder, while a few per week end up in my inbox. I can't complain since I've had the account for over 5 years, I think.
Yahoo does get 600 a week in bulk mail.. but the actual inbox doesn't really get polluted...And hotmail keeps getting 21 yr old russian housewife mails.. very annoying when you're not even a guy!
My gmail account gets between 20 and 50 spams a day, but 99% of them go to my spam box, and even though I always browse through them to check, I've never had a legit email to me get filtered as spam.
I use SpamEater Pro and it works rather well. I haven't counted how many spams I get, but I do get a lot less since I deleted my 'catchall' email address...

My gmail account also gets a similar volume of spam. however, sadly a few legit ones have ended up in the spam filter.
