The two current challenges are so fustrating to me! I have shots but can't get them to look like I want, been playing with scents for freaking ever!!!!! I've set up three times, shot over 100 shots, different lighting, different backgrounds and it just isn't working!!!!!!!! And the surprise shot I did find that I took the other day is just that, a snap shot and no matter what I do to it, it looks it! DAMN!!!!!
I didn't even get that far this time. Needed the cooperation of our local frog, but it decided to hide all weekend so I never even got a chance to try for the shot I wanted.
Looks like I am about to have a week with no entry at all, as I don;t think I'll have anything for the scents challenge.
I wanted to get a shot in for the "Surprise" challenge but my wife and I had a very busy week. On top of that, my folks dropped by on Friday and Saturday on a planned visit and I couldn`t shoot since we were entertaining. Plus the shot I wanted to submit was a kind of risque one of my wife and I didn't want the folks to get all uncomfortable.
To top it all off I'm pulling a 12-hour overtime shift today (Sunday) and I'm only getting home past 11pm EST. No time to shoot, besides my wife will be sound asleep.
Oh well. Maybe I'll be able to use the idea in a future challenge. May just shoot it anyway and include it in my portfolio. Such is life.
I hear what everyone is saying!! Last week after obsessing over Propaganda all week and deciding not to enter a photo, I got in my car to go to work the morning after the deadline, and I noticed something that would have made the greatest prop, and suddenly a great idea popped into my head...too late. Now I am struggling with scents, and finally put something up for surprises, but it's just okay i think.
Oh well have to get ready for our thanksgiving trip...Nantucket, so I should be photographically inspired there!
Well, the one shot I had I just couldn't get to work. And I had this other idea all week but never had a chance to really take the time to shoot it right so I quickly set up the wall, called the models and took about 16 shots hoping one of them would call out to me and ONE DID! SOOOOOOOO, I have my surprise! Now to get that pesky aroma to work!!!
