I've been looking for sports items that are not plastered with logos, trade marks, etc. Does anyone know where you can find footballs, baseballs, basketballs, bats, gloves, etc. that have a enough non-printed area to make them usefull (with out a lot of cloning) for stock?

I've looked in all my local sporting goods stores, Wal-lie-world, online, etc. with no luck. Any help would be appreciated.

Walmart, Kmart, Ollies, Big lots, Retail stores yard sales, ebay.

You might try antique stores, if you don't mind the sporting goods looking really ancient. They may have baseballs, footballs, etc. that don't have any visible logo at all.

Salvation Army, Goodwill, St Vincent dePaul, etc.
Garage sales and flea markets.
Your neighbour's basement, especially if their kids are grown and flown.
I know I have plain baseballs and softballs in my garage.

Try used sporting goods stores. Here in Miami we have a chain called Play It Again Sports.

Would just cloning out the logos be faster (and use less gas) than driving all over looking for logo-less stuff? Unless you specifically want the aged/worn look ...

Otherwise, I agree that second-hand stores and yard/garage sales are great places to find junk useful props for stock photography.
