I know these questions come up alot, but I have no idea what to charge for a one time use of a photo of mine. I live in Paducah, KY, and a group of Dept. of Energy higher-ups from across the US are being invited to a conference here in September. The hosts are putting together invitations and iteneraries as part of their marketing strategy. They want to use a photo of mine from the local BBQ festival as this conference is being held at the same time this Sept.
My question is, how do I determine a price for a onetime use? I have only a few hours invested in the photo, but it is the most unique photgraph to ever come out of the festival. I've had lots of interest in the photograph locally (Chamber, civic organizations, etc.) |
