No, but I did think about the Edmund Fitzgerald yesterday (being from Michigan).
It's a shame that memorials for veterans and such in the US are usually fairly location specific (i.e. Washington DC and State capitals) Where I live, I don't see any sort of memorials or parades or such on these types of days...
BTW, great pictures you have there. Was it raining or are those tears on the nose of the soldier? Excellent capture on "cutie".
