Hmmmm.... On one hand I like the red, gray, black, white scheme, but on the other I think it looks very busy. You see all 4 colors, a reverse image and a graphic all at once and its kinda overwhelming. Perhaps try a smaller font size so things have some breathing room. Its very artsy, just a bit cluttered.

i agree! i think i might shrink all the text in the upper right.
and i made it a bit artsy to show that im not just a boring guy that produces the same thing every time type of deal. but i didnt go too over the top that it loses its semi-proness feel to it
I agree with everything said so far and would like to add that I think that a bit more luminosity (brightness) in the red text would help it pop a bit more.
P.S. New one needs some more space between the phone number and the email addy ...
P.P.S. I think the logo and the design of the font on the left and bottom is super!
P.P.P.S. I agree with Idnic ... you can bring the size of the upper right back up a tiny notch.
i think that the colours aren't exactly complimentary though. it's awfully dark! LOL ... but that's a matter of personal taste.
my honest opinion, the only thing i have a problem with is your logo ... i mean, it looks nice, but doesn't exactly scream photography (which is the emphasis on your card).
i'd consider a new logo ... something less abstract and more descriptive of you and photography! :)
I think its good but the phone number should be the most important thing, or the email depending on how you want them to contact you. Its more about being a pretty, functional item than just pretty. How about the contact details being white and the word 'contact' in the grey, for that matter do you need the word contact? Could be self-evident.
Lastly would the web address be better of starting with the more recognized www ?

sure it screams photography, you just have to think out of the box ;)
and personally when i see logos with like film strips and cameras and stuff like that i think its cheesy. i want it to look very modernish
yeah ... the // front freaks out those who are not geeks like us
unless it is a link they can click on.
if they punch in //www.blahblah their puter will send them to the right place ...
Whatever the background ... I think you need space between your phone number and email address ... and should raise and enlarge your mainline mirrored business name.
For another idea ... I actually did work in a printing shop at one time and wine coloured print on buff (light yellow) linen texture was HUGE and looks very classy.
This is just an opinion, there are two things that need to stand out on any card, the first is what you do, in this case photography, the word photography looks ok, but the logo looks good, but doesn’t really add, or reinforce what you are offering.
the other is your phone no, lots of us have poor eyesight, and could have difficulty reading your phone no as it is, if there were another card there that were easier to see, you could loose that customer.
