An old picture of my uncle and his Grandmother was recently found, althouth it's in really poor condition.
I was wondering if any one had any suggestions [of if you think you can edit it yourself, please!] as to how I might go about fixing this with photoshop, I would greatly appreciate it!
Oh, that's not bad at all... we worked with a LOT worse right after Katrina. The only hard thing to fix would be the blown highlights in the face. Anyway, scan the image in as large as you can and upload it somewhere. If you want you can e-mail a larger file to me and I'll host it temporarily for ya. And we can let DPC play around with it :-)

Here's a quick edit, working more on fixing the damage, rather than trying to make it look like a recent image.
The age is best still appearing and is why I gave it the slight tone.
The highlights are gone, and really doesn't hurt it as much as it seems, because it looks real.

Brad not sure if you still own your shop but you should have before and afters of some of your photo repair and touch up work. you could do very well I am sure.
Yeah, still have my shop. :(
Auto shops are not a hot selling item it seems nowadays.
I have some edits saved here, like:
I think I have dumped all my PhotoRescue edits though...
if you wanted i bet if you posted here asking for some to work on you would get tons. that example is one of the first i saw you do and it embarrassed my feeble attempt at that shot:)
