"I don't make these very often. In fact, I might never make these, but this is a pretty fundamental policy that I'm talking about, and it's a necessary one for our survival in DPC. It has to do with voting practices. Obviously, we are not responsible for the voting practices of our members, but to go further I'd like to suggest some guidelines for how Team Suckers vote:
- We do not share photos with each other and then vote on them.
- We do not vote higher on images just because we think they were made by a member of Team Suck.
- We do not encourage each other to vote higher for certain types or styles of images. We pride ourselves on our variety of tastes and styles.
- We do not encourage any particular voting method, though we might frown at people with 3.67 voting averages and make grumbling noises.
- The only way we might influence voting is indirectly, by enriching everyone's tastes and opening their minds to what can be beautiful, and this sort of discussion is never about an identifiable picture in a current challenge."

first of all, I deny everything.
Second of all, black was the color of that person's true love's hair.
I sent in my self DQ request this morning, and came home and it's still there!!! I have 6 comments telling me it's messed up. This is one of those that would probably get 40 comments all saying that.

I hope she wasn't wearing the orange dress when her hair was red. The blue silk. Oh wait, his hair was red. The blue silk would go nice with red or black.

In case anyone's wondering, I'm getting a bit of whiplash going back and forth between here and our forum.
Me too. I tend to prefer here as it's more likely to encourage interest into Team Suck. The other forum is useful to have more extended topics, though.
Agree that both serve useful purposes. I do like having this thread here for the thumbs of the challenge results and just to have a place to read when I'm on DPC. The other site is great for all the tips, tricks, links, critiques, etc. So a little whiplash will be OK, I think.
So I found out today at about 2 pm that I'm leaving at 11 am tomorrow for a 6 day trip. To Italy. Now before you all think this is just TOO cool, keep in mind it involves very complicated travel (my organization has no money and the way we keep expenses down is really something to behold) and attending conference activities all day and several evenings. But still, it IS Italy. So it is kinda cool.
Not sure I'll have internet access and pretty sure I won't be able to enter any challenges or do much voting, which is a bummer with the Free Study up. :-(
