Hey Kelly, maybe we should start a new suck team called "au5" (or something completely different). If you jump over to it you already have 4 people with jackal, muppet, & writeheart.
Check the stats on the Nikon you're looking at - I seem to recall one or two of 'em (maybe all?) don't go below 200 ISO, which I think is kinda odd.
My D70s doesn't.
I have *ZERO* issues with resolution.
Funny thing.....when we did the portrait session with the camera club, the two of us with D70s Nikons shot smaller aperture and faster shutters to the tune of twice as small, and four to five times faster.
THAT was odd.
Personally, I think my Nikon is one heck of a low-light camera, even with the "Odd" 200 ISO.....I rarely take it off that sensitivity.

I'm not sure about the reception the DNMC Police will give my Still entry, but I'm VERY excited about my Free Study entry......mostly 'cause I *seriously* wanna dissect it with you guys after the challenge.
I think it's an extraordinary image that may well get a lackadaisical voting run, but it's hard to tell, and I do NOT care 'cause I relly like it and I think y'all will too during the review..

Yes, we do, although my Still entry was shot with the Fugi s5000 (I just like it better for certain types of shots...) we are from what I can see in the minority.

If you were wondering why Brian (hywind) posted my lizard here, it's because he read my comments and asked if he could edit it to take out the stick - I told him he was more than welcome to and could post here since we like learning new stuff. If you read his comments you'll see he used the lasso tool to select the area to be cloned first - seems to me a kinda nifty trick - I'll definitely try it. Thanks, Brian!

And my shot from Cell Challenge, did way better than I expected...I guess it was the humor aspect, lol. Or maybe more people than I thought can relate to it.

Klstover, yeah it is overprocessed I agree, but with out all the USM it was REALLY bland looking!! very overcast day and the stobe COMPLETELY blew out any and all detail on the phone and gun, I submitted and unsubmitted it like 4 times, lol. I thought about it and decided since I liked it I would submit and take the conseqenses, to my suprise it did better than I could have imagined! I am quite happy with the final outcome!! Thanks to you both for the comments!!
