I have a few minutes while the contractors are busy at work :)

Just thought I would post some on my numerous Shadows II shots that I did not submit. Some of these shots are the one and only shot I did and are somewhat rough, I was merely testing an idea. Some were humorous (Stop sign against a brick wall) and I did not feel they would be very well accepted in the challenge.

Thoughts and comments are welcome:






The titles for each of these had not been decided upon.

I think I just had to many ideas for the Shadows II challenge.

Great stuff, Calvus! I love the stop sign shots. Particularly the first one. They are funny. Not sure it would've done too well in the Shadow contest, though.

I absolutely love the chair shadow. Cool shot. They are all very nice, though, in their own way. Great job.

From L to R I like #5 & #6. Those give me the most interest. Great shots.

Thanks for taking the time to comment.
I guess I liked them all.
I liked "The Party Is Over" more so but did not feel it would survive do to the fact it was a dark shot and I could not decide on a final title. I had numerous other versions that I worked on also.
Not sure if I will get the time to enter the next challenge. To busy with remodeling.

I love the 3 chair shots. Top stuff. The first one especially - great detail in the full size version after the simplicity of the thumbnail.
No suggestions except keep on doing what you're doing!
