We have a fair claim for the WPL newbie underdog tag; now let's start causing some upsets.
So; we're registered in WPL4, we have a team thread - what next:
- Choose this as a 'watched' thread'.
- please PM davy and I your personal email addresses so that we can set up a team email distribution list.
- we need someone to volunteer to organise team cards (perhaps one of the more edgy tudent types).
- participation in the chellenges.
DPC is a strange site - at once highly competitive and also highly social; very creative and still conservative; very encouraging, but still with mean elements; and of course it is all about the voting.
Whatever the voting rules say you will be punished if you deviate from the challenge, or if the voters feel you are trying to force an shot into a challenge through the title.You will also be punished if you make the voters feel too awkard; your score will also take a hit if the voters feel you are laying the warm, fuzzy world of diffused babies, flowers and waterfalls on a bit think. To do well you have to offend no-one and still stand-out as original : now that is a challenge.
okay, well, I really need to get this paper written by thursday... and then the week after is finals week... and the league doesn't start until Feb... but surely, victory will be ours!
