one of my clients is going to be in a manhatten studio jan 12-16, and i'm coming along to shoot. as i know i'll have some down time, i'd love to hook up and shoot around with anyone who has an inclination. we had a pretty nice run of it when i was up last summer (check this thread), some photos here...
as always, this is an all-weather event, just let me know if you're interested. also, i've been up on the rock, it was fun, but i'm not going back this trip--too much other stuff to shoot.
sorry not to have had anything to add before now, but this project has been all over the map. as it looks right now, even though i'm going to be in the city, it doesn't look like i'm going to be able to forecast any downtime. if anyone feels spontaneous, pm me a cell #, and i'll let you know how things look once i get up there. otherwise, we'll just have to do it when there's nothing to do but shoot.
I have a meeting on Tuesday the 16th in NYC, but it doesn't start until 7:15 pm. Depending on schedules, I could come down early and would love to meet up and go shooting (though I'll be toting my laptop and meeting materials around with me).
i am bummed that this didn't work out for me timing wise, especially with neil coming down to the city :(
as it turned out, not only did i not really have any down time, i had to come back to richmond last night to deal with stuff here today. it was really tough being up there and not being able to just go out and shoot...maybe next time.
