What is wrong with you people! My 'grace' entry is one of my very best pictures, but the score is in the low 4s! Nobody appreciates great art around here!.
One has to wonder though, if photos have to be taken during a set time .... should rants have a similar limit ;)
But I do have to agree with Trinch here, yes it was a very graceful ballet hippo indeed, but as it was wearing a green tutu I just didn't think it really met the challenge.

You might want to calibrate your monitor. The hippo is not a ballet dancer... but some sort of sumo wrestler-thingie.

Not quite zeuszen .... we need to all give him a 5, except ONE person who gives him a 4, so the end score will actually be 4.9999 and he won't quite make the 5 ;)
And yes jjbeguin ....... we definately have a martyr in the making here. Maybe we should burn him at the stake like Joan of Arc ;)
bamaster, you just made my day with the hippo animation. I almost peed my pants how hard I was laughing. amazing what people can do with animation programs.

LOL,, so you say! hmmm, you may be right, maybe I'll go photoshop the bejeezus out of that lousy water lily shot and enter it... probably have a better shot at a 4
The moment the next challenge ends, I am going to instantly give EVERYONE a 10! They will all get this initial feeling of "wow, look how well I am doing!".
An hour later I'll change EVERYONE to a 1 ..... their hopes dashed on the rocks as their scores plummet (and remember, at this point there will be very few votes, and one just dropped from 10 to 1).
Later on in the challenge, when there have been lots of votes, I'll revote and give correct scores, but by then the effect will be less.
