"saturate, desaturate or change the colors of your entry or any existing object within it."

Can I change the color without using a filter or adjustment layer? I mean can I just paint that object?

I think painting on a layer set to hue might be legal, and the best way to go anyways. but I'm not sure exactly what you're trying to do.

In Advanced you can change the colour of anything within your image, as long as you're not adding or removing a key feature (ie no removing major objects nor creating new ones).

If you paint the object with an opaque color, I don't think that is legal; it eliminates everything underneath, all the details. On the other hand, if you use a paintbrush set to some degree of transparency to "wash" color on selected areas, I'm sure that would be fine. And there are a myriad other ways to accomplish color changes legally as well.

I want to paint in a separate layer set to color dodge mode. (just to change a color of an object) - it's transparent anyway.
