Okay, first what's up with all the signatures? Good Lord! Get a clue, if your signature is larger than your post, maybe it's time to change.
Also, what's up with everybody being on a team? In one thread I see (signature line of course):
Team 20D
Team 30D
Team Suck
Team 50mm
DOF Llamas
And some teams have these baseball type cards next to the team (of course in their signature). And worst of them all is when they have their stock photo link. Like I'm going to pay $0.01 for your crappy image.
I mean is it that each team get's together and plans photo shoots like it's a team effort. "Look at me! I'm part of a team! I'm someone!"
I think I'll create a team called "Lone Wolf Shooter" or "Free Range Photographer."
God damn that felt good! I should rant more often.
I just turned them back on for a moment to remind myself why I keep them turned off.

At least threads like this remind people that not everybody can bear to keep them turned ON, so if they have something worthwhile to share, they can do it in a different way.

To answer your more-or-less-implied question, there's a side competition going on, finishing its third "season", called WPL (World Photography League) where teams of 7 photographers play head-to-head "matches" with other teams based on team scoring averages in the 3 regular, weekly challenges. We're in the playoffs phase of WPL3 now, and WPL4 will be forming up in early January.
