I did a shoot for a 50-something client and now she wants the cleavage reduced for the print. (Hmmm...I believe it was you, my dear, who chose to wear the low cut blouse and VS push up bra...but anyway...) Any suggestions on what be the best way to do that? I also need to smooth some sun spots and age wrinkles off her chest. Any thoughts on that would be welcome as well. Thanks!

Debbie Grossman had an article in Popular Photography & Imaging back in last February's issue called "Nobody's Perfect - Use Liquify for Digital Surgery" She demonstrates how she added some muscle to a woman's guns (biceps), shoulder (delts) and added a crease to her mouth to show a slight smile (sorry, don't know the name of that muscle). :-)
Just a thought... could it be that she THINKS she wants reduced cleavage, but what she WANTS is simply to reduce those same wrinkles / age spots? You may actually be right about her wearing the low-cut blouse & VS bra, in that she wanted to feel pretty & attractive & younger.
PLEASE don't take this the wrong way, but could the customer have assumed you'd magically take years off her looks, and this is her way of saying 'hmm, not as good as I'd hoped'? I mean, people look to us to make them feel good about themselves, right?
I learned a very hard lesson the first time a woman in her 40's honored me with her AND my first nude shoot... she looked fantastic for her age, yet seeing my pictures revealed the same image she could see in the mirror for free. What she really needed was a set of images to highlight her beauty - not point out her already thin self-esteem.
Sorry for the long post, and I sincerely hope this helps (if not the OP). BTW - Have you tried the liquify tool, to stretch the blouse edges? Or a little Gaussian Blur / Healing Brush? Good luck... I'm heading back to my own editing hell, involving a young pregnant woman (she's great, an 18 year old natural beauty, but I need more skills!)

/me remembers back to the woman in the Schwarzenegger movie, Total Recall, who had 3 breasts...
Although THAT would be increased cleavage.
