There may have been discussion on this, but if so I can't find it, so ...

Has anyone got Photoshop CS (in effect photoshop 8) yet? If so, how are you getting on with it?

I am interested due to the RAW handling improvements in particular, but also as I tend to like new versions of software :)

Price will prevent me getting it for ages, but I am interested in how people have found it.

Althought you can order it, I believe it is not shipping until sometime in late November. The Adobe site sez it will ship "before the end of November 2003".

Ahhh, that explains it.

I hadn't heard of it being out and about but was just passing the Adobe site and there it was.

I hadn't read in detail yet and thus had not realised it was yet to ship.

I wait with baited breath ... well, I don't actually, but I would if I could afford to buy it ;)

Yeh, Adobe's caught "annual upgrade fever." They figger they'll get everyone's $149 oops $169 each year. Since this upgrade does seem to have enough meat to justify the cost, so I'll probably spring for it.
