My father has a whole bunch of carved figurines from Sweden that are really neat. I was wondering if I were to use them somehow in a photo, if it would be against the contest rules to submit it. Thanks you.

It's OK if you use them (or parts of them) as elements of your composition, not as the entirety of your subject matter.
