So, after browsing around the forums and searching, I've become intrigued about the idea of hosting pics on a stock photography. I am not sure that any of my stuff is good enough that people will want to download it. Is it really worth all the effort?
that is the right thread. You will also want to check out the microstocks. Not for everyone but they DO give a good return on your images (believe it or not)
Stock can be great. You probably won't get rich, but it might help pay for some equipment.
Pfffft. I take the best pictures in the world. Anyone who sees them becomes hypnotized by the sheer beauty of them. I should be rich in approximately 17 days. :D

it all depends on how much you put into it. If you work on it 1 hour a week... some equipment is all you should expect. If you work on it full time, you can expect full time $$.

The more you look at it though, many photographers have the most beautiful pictures in the world and they all have the same keywords as you :) No offense, it goes for all of us...
