With the new rules for the Expert Editing Challenges at DPC, the only obstacle for creativity in photograph it will be technique. A lot of technique about image manipulation will be a must to archive the best results.
Does anybody know good Books, DVD Tutorials, Online Tutorials, Etc... that lead us to results like this? Dominic Rouse SlideShow
No offense to the PS gurus and the great photogs, but these challenges are going to be dominated by the Art ROFLMAOs on this site... creative minds that can take full use to the full toolset.
These won't be your typical PP. I see a lot of creative composites at the top of the list. Move over HDR, here comes the real PS gods :-)

I know it is an expert challenge but I think that people will drop the pictures that look more like digital art than photography... I hope not but is what I feel... Anyway, I may skip the first challenge just to see how it developes...

They're good, though some of them are a bit on the nose. You can so tell he's a lapsed Catholic. :) My favourite are "Vacancy" and "Angeline".

it seems your opinion agrees with BW Magazine who did an article on him after featuring his portfolio, not to mention the people who pay upwards of $3500 per print for his work.
This Radiant Vista tutorial might not be a bad place to start. Combination of several files to create a very photographic end result. The files are there for you to play with, along with the step by step discussion of what was done and the motivation behind each edit or change.
maybe the SC can say if that sort of editing is all legal or not. I haven't read the rules very closely.
